Help us give Spring Break a new meaning! March 20-24, Students for Peace & Justice at the University of Montana will be taking students out to Cannonball, North Dakota to assist in the ongoing clean-up efforts at the former DAPL resistance camps. This trip will focus specifically on clean up of the camps previously known as Oceti Sakowin, Sacred Stone, and Rosebud, along the Cannonball River in conjunction with local and state authorities and clean up crews. World Water Day is March 22nd, so we will also be raising awareness, celebrating, and giving thanks at the Cheyenne River Camp, where we will be staying. But we can’t do it alone. We are currently fund raising and gathering supplies. Some of the things we need are:
- Trash Bags
- Work Gloves
- Rubber Boots
- Shovels
- Large Wagons
- Wheelbarrows
- Rakes
You can donate at our Go Fund Me page!
- Pickaxes
- Tarps
- Pickup Trucks
- Food
- Water
- Workers!
- Monetary Support
